“That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.  So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:19-20)

Our God just wants us to be reconciled to him.  This is the way it was meant to be.  When we are reconciled to God, it is a joyous reunion, being brought back to where we should be.  It is also good to know that once we humble ourselves and reconnect ourselves to God, our sins are not counted against us.  Instead, we are incentivized to live out our faith, having full knowledge of the love and faithfulness of our Lord.

Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes I look back with regret about the time I have wasted, wandering away from you.  Thank you for welcoming me back with open arms, giving me full confidence in your love and faithfulness.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
