“How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1)

     I’m sure that some of us feel as though it is unrealistic to think that we can live together in unity.  Just consider everything that’s happening as of late.  Perhaps it seems too idealistic and too optimistic to think that way, “but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

     It all starts in the home; a commitment to honor and serve the Lord, and in effect serving and loving one another.  Teaching our children to love God and love one another.  There is a way which leads to life.  We can pray for those who need a change of heart, and with one person, one step at a time, we can see good things beginning to happen.  It’s not too late.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I do not want to give up hope for our community, our nation, and our world.  Guide us in ways we can help others.  I pray that in a world of darkness our light will shine brighter than ever.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
