“Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

     In God’s word, we get answers regarding some key issues in our life, and we get the answer to the one whom we should be following.  Jesus makes it very clear that he is the one who gives us life, and life eternal.  In the context of this verse, even the disciples were asking this question, “how can we know the way?” (vs. 5) They had been with Jesus for the better part of three years, yet they were still questioning and sometimes doubtful.

     It’s okay to ask questions, and as we journey through this life, we can continue to read and study God’s word to find answers and strengthen our faith.  We find some undeniable truths in God’s word.  As our faith is tested through some of our experiences, our faith can be strengthened.  We can be able to say without a doubt that Jesus is the only way.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for providing answers for us.  Strengthen our faith, O God.  We know that you are seeking others to come to you, and we pray for them, that they may experience life in your kingdom.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
