“Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.  All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:7-10)

     We all have in front of us the most important decision we will ever make–to choose life through Christ, or to go our own way.  Jesus tells us that there is peace and security when we choose him.  

Not only that, but we find true and complete fulfillment.  We seek other ways to make our lives complete, and while many of these are good, there is nothing that compares to the love of Christ within.  We all need Jesus more than anything, and our Lord is here to supply that need.

Prayer: Dear Lord, I have sought after other things–some good, some bad, but now that I have you, I do not have to be in want anymore.  You have richly supplied my needs.  Thank you for being Lord of my life.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
