“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

     All of us need rest, and Jesus promises to give it to us when we find our rest in Him.  He can be the one who bears our burdens.  When we surrender the circumstances of our lives to Him, He lifts us up with new hope and wisdom. Some situations are just too difficult for us to handle, but nothing is too great for Him. He promises to refresh our weary souls when we cry out to Him.  A great amount of stress is never good, but when we have Jesus, it can be greatly reduced.

Prayer: Dear Lord, taking the time to cast my cares upon you makes all of the difference.  Thank you for easing my burdens and giving me a much better quality of life.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
